Rogue Community College Disability Services recommends an informal resolution process for students receiving services. Timely and respectful communication help insure that a situation can be resolved quickly.
We encourage students to contact Disability Services regarding concerns as soon as an issue arises.
Disability Services Specialists/Faculty will assist you in helping to define the situation, suggest a reasonable solution(s) and, work directly with classroom faculty, college staff, facilities, program or the department to find an accessible resolution that is in compliance with section 504 of the rehabilitation act of 1973 and the ADA. Grievances filed against Disability Services are to be addressed to the ADA Coordinator.
If you wish to file a formal grievance through Rogue Community College's grievance procedure you may do so. Instructions can be found in the Students' Rights Freedoms and Responsibilities.
