The conference includes encouraging speeches from Keynote speakers, community members and current RCC students. This powerful one-day event helps motivate youth on ways to overcome current obstacles, realize the dream of going to college and become their own success story for a bright future that awaits them.

E.M.O. is a one-day educational conference for Latinx Junior and Senior High School students from Jackson and Josephine County. The purpose of this conference is to motivate youth on ways to overcome barriers, and realize the dream of going to college and become their own success story is attainable! This conference includes encouraging speeches from keynote speakers, community members and current RCC students. Abriendo Puertas is last year’s theme because education opens many doors for a successful future!
