Rogue Soccer Teams Take Field in Preseason Action

Rogue Community College (RCC) Ospreys men and women's soccer teams took to the field in preseason action against College of the Redwoods (CR) on Saturday, August 20. The Rogue soccer women were victorious (7-3), and the men fell 2-1 in a hard-fought contest. The Ospreys are headed to play this weekend in the NWAC Friendlies, a tournament hosted by the Northwest Athletic Conference on August 27 and 28.

RCC Chorus and Rogue Singers Present "Just Singin'" Free Concert

The Rogue Community College (RCC) Redwood Community Chorus, Rogue Singers, and several soloists from the groups will be performing a concert titled "Just Singin’" on Saturday, August 27 at 7 p.m. in the Rogue Auditorium on the RCC Redwood Campus on 3345 Redwood Hwy. in Grants Pass, Oregon.

RCC Awarded $190,957 Grant to Increase Degree and Certificate Completion Rates

Rogue Community College (RCC) received a $190,957 grant award from the Oregon Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC) to establish a program to increase completion rates for under-served, minority, low-income, first-generation, college-bound students.

Sing this Summer with the RCC Redwood Community Chorus

The Rogue Community College (RCC) Redwood Community Chorus invites all singers high school age and older to join the chorus for a summer of singing.

Joining is easy; just come to a rehearsal and register.  There is no fee unless the student wishes to enroll  online for college credit.

"Our theme this summer is 'Singer-Songwriters'," said Deborah Pratt, director of the chorus. "We will be singing the music of John Denver, Gordon Lightfoot, Carole King, and James Taylor. It's going to be a really fun summer of singing...come join us!"

$5,000 Grant from State Farm to Assist Students in RCC High School Driver Training

Rogue Community College (RCC) recently received a $5,000 grant award from State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company (State Farm) to assist with the cost of high school driver training.
