RCC Provides Some Answers
Oregon Promise Grant logoRogue Community College (RCC) is reminding students who received an Oregon Promise Grant in 2016/17 school year that you do not have to complete another Oregon Promise application for the 2017/18 school year; however, you must complete the following to apply for 2017/18 your Oregon Promise Grant renewal:

  • File a 2017/18 FAFSA by July 14, 2017, at www.fafsa.gov.
  • Meet RCC’s Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements to maintain financial aid eligibility.
  • Have been continuously enrolled at least half-time in each 2016/17 term from your initial term of eligibility, forward.
  • Have attempted fewer than 90 credits.

As with new Oregon Promise applicants, the Office of Student Access and Completion (OSAC) will not make 2017/18 awards until the Legislature has finalized the program’s budget for the 2017-19 biennium.  For more information, see http://www.oregonstudentaid.gov/oregon-promise.aspx.
