Learn about RCC’s Pharmacy Technician and Sterile Processing Technician Programs at Information Sessions

Now is a great time to enter a career in the health care field. The first step in determining whether the Rogue Community College (RCC) Pharmacy Technician or Sterile Processing Technician certificates are the right educational path for you is to attend a free, one-hour information session open to all current and potential students.

Do you have a strong work ethic, have a desire to learn, like helping people, work well with others, and enjoy a professional work setting? If yes, you will want to explore career and academic details for both of these programs which are limited entry educational opportunities requiring applicants to attend a free information session to gain entry into the program. Attendees receive information about the criteria and possible career opportunities in the field; local employment opportunities with wage ranges and benefits options; how to apply for admission at RCC; the requirements for the certificate program, and more.

The RCC Allied Health Occupations staff invites you to learn if a career as a sterile processing technician or pharmacy technician would be a good fit for you by attending one of these information sessions on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the Riverside Campus, Building A, Room 12 at 202 S. Riverside Ave., Medford, Oregon:

  • Pharmacy Technician from 1-2 p.m.
  • Sterile Processing Technician from 2-3 p.m.

For more information, visit the Allied Health Occupations web page at http://www.roguecc.edu/aho, or contact them at 541-245-7841 or alliedhealth@roguecc.edu.

If you experience a disability that may require some accommodation in order to participate in an RCC class or activity, please notify Disability Services at 541-245-7537, 541-956-7337, or disabilityservices@roguecc.edu at least 5 business days in advance.
