Live Stream Viewing of Total Eclipse Available on Giant Screen in Medford

Total Solar EclipseThe Rogue Community College-Southern Oregon University Higher Education Center (RCC-SOU HEC) invites community members into view NASA's live streaming of Monday's total eclipse.

The live stream begins at 9 a.m., August 21, 2017, tracking when the eclipse first touches on land at 9:04 a.m. on the Oregon Coast, and continues through noon when the moon's shadow leaves land at South Carolina. Images from 11 spacecraft, at least three NASA aircraft, and more than 50 high-altitude balloons projected on a 210" screen (15' wide by 9' high) will provide an unmatched view of the eclipse - without traffic jams.

The RCC-SOU Higher Education Center is located at 8th & Bartlett Streets in downtown Medford. One-hour free parking is available on adjacent streets, with two-hour free parking available at the Middleford Garage at 6th and Bartlett. The 100 seats in the Presentation Hall (HEC-132) will be available on a first-come basis.

For more information on the live stream details as well as how to watch the eclipse safely, visit www.nasa.gov/eclipselive.
