Learn about RCC’s Human Services Program, April 5

two hands holding heart for RCC's Human Services programDiscover if a human services career matches your goals when you attend a free Human Services program information session from 5-7 p.m., April 5, at the RCC/SOU Higher Education Center, HEC-227, at 101 S. Bartlett St. in Medford.

Attending an information session is a required step in the application procedure for the Human Services limited-entry program; however, the information session is open to anyone who wishes to learn more about the program.

Get Great Deals While Supporting Student Scholarships and Programs at RCC through Clothing Sale

AAWCC-RCC Rogue Community College Clothing Sale Square-Spring 2018The public is invited to find some great deals on gently used or new clothing and accessories while raising funds for student scholarships and programs at Rogue Community College (RCC) through the American Association of Women in Community College – RCC (AAWCC-RCC) chapter’s biannual clothing sales:

  • April 11-12, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. on the Riverside Campus, RCC/SOU Higher Education Center, Room HEC-127/129 at 101 S. Bartlett St., Medford.
  • April 18-19, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. on the Redwood Campus, Student Center, at 3345 Redwood Hwy, Grants Pass.

Items sell for $1-$3.

Free Microsoft Office Download for RCC Students

Rogue Community College students are able to download Microsoft Office for home use free of charge, but the process has recently changed.

To install Microsoft Office, RCC students go to via a browser and log into their RCC e-mail. Then click on “Office 365” at the top of the browser window. On the next page, they should see an Install button at the top right.

Tim Johnson Retires from RCC Board of Education; Board Seeks Replacement

Tim Johnson, chair of the Rogue Community College (RCC) Board of Education, announced he would step down from the Board at its February meeting. Johnson said he was thankful for the opportunity to serve on the board, but that he had decided to retire.

“Tim has been a pleasure to work with,” said RCC President Cathy Kemper-Pelle. “He was committed to the mission of RCC, brought a great perspective, had a collegial attitude, and a great sense of humor.”

RCC Illinois Valley Chorus Offers Free Concert

Celebrate the first day of spring and the National Geographic “Year of the Bird,” a centennial celebration of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, with the RCC Illinois Valley Chorus who invites the public to their free concert March 20 at 7 p.m. at Immanuel United Methodist Church at 200 W Watkins St. in downtown Cave Junction.

Wiseman Gallery Featuring Works by RCC Art Department Faculty

The Rogue Community College (RCC) Wiseman Gallery, Grants Pass, Oregon announces their next exhibition, “RCC Art Department Faculty Exhibition” will be on display from March 8-23 and April 2-May 3 featuring works by RCC Art Department Faculty.The Rogue Community College (RCC) Wiseman Gallery announces their next exhibition, “RCC Art Department Faculty Exhibition” will be on display from March 8-23 and April 2-May 3 featuring works by Karl Brake, Dana Bussell, Pat Enos, Jennifer Eufusia, Ted Helard, Irene Kai, Carl Seyboldt and Zeno Thanes.

The opening reception is scheduled at the gallery from 4-5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 9.

Public Invited to Free Improv Shows at RCC

The Rogue Community College (RCC) Improvisational Theater classes will offer three FREE comedy shows as students perform for class finals at the RCC Performance Hall on the Riverside Campus, Building C, Room 109 at 130 E. 8th St., Medford on:

The public is invited to enjoy scenes from “Macbeth” and other plays by William Shakespeare as the Rogue Community College (RCC) Fundamentals of Acting class students showcase of their new skills in three free performances at the RCC Performance Hall on the Riverside Campus, Building C, Room 109 at 130 East 8th Street, Medford on:
