RCC and Britt Classical Festival Offer a Unique Music Appreciation Course

The Rogue Community College (RCC) Music department and the Britt Music and Arts Festival are teaming up to provide an exciting and unique experience for students enrolled in the RCC Music Appreciation course (MUS 105) summer term starting July 10 in Medford.

The Music Appreciation students will study the usual survey of Western music; in addition, the class will include guest lectures, performances, and demonstrations by musicians from the Britt Classical Orchestra, the Britt’s music director, Teddy Abrams, and this season's guest artists. Students will also attend several concerts during the Britt Classical Festival free of charge.

The Music Appreciation course meets July 10 through Aug. 30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-2:50 p.m. on the RCC Riverside Campus, C Building, Room 105 (RVC C-105), in Medford.
