Save the Date to Save Lives: Red Cross Blood Drive Hosted by RCC Associated Student Government

Blood Drive American Red CrossThe Associated Student Government of Rogue Community College (ASGRCC) has partnered with the American Red Cross to host three blood drives.

“The need for blood donors is constant. Each day thousands of units are needed to save patients in our hospitals. It’s the blood on the shelves that saves lives in an emergency. Volunteer blood donors are the only ones who can ensure adequate blood supplies,” stated Christina Martin, American Red Cross Pacific Northwest Blood Services Region Account Manager.

Do you want to make a difference by saving a life? RCC hopes you will the support the Red Cross at one of their drives:

  • Wednesday, November 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Redwood Campus, Library at 3345 Redwood Hwy., Grants Pass.
  • Thursday, November 9 from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. on the Table Rock Campus, Room TRC-101 at 7800 Pacific Ave., White City.
  • Tuesday, November 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., on the Riverside Campus, Building G, in the lobby at 117 S. Central Ave., Medford.

The donation process takes about an hour from the time you arrive until the time you leave. The donation itself usually takes about 8-10 minutes.
