Commencement will be online

April 30, 2020

Dear RCC community,

We are looking forward to celebrating the accomplishments of our graduates in June. As previously announced, RCC will have a reformatted ceremony this spring instead of our traditional ceremony at the Expo.

The 49th Rogue Community College Commencement will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 13. The pre-recorded video ceremony will include President Kemper-Pelle and the board in regalia, faculty and student speakers, and we will read the names of the graduates. The ceremony will be posted on the college website and YouTube with a complementary event on Facebook where graduates can celebrate with their friends and families.

In the coming days, graduates will receive an email with details about the ceremony. In the meantime, students who are planning to complete their programs this spring or summer must apply for graduation by May 8 to be included in the commencement program. This year's graduates will be invited to walk in next year's commencement.

RCC is proud of our graduates and we are committed to celebrating their achievements. Although we can't meet in person at this time, we will be mailing all graduates a tassel, commencement program and diploma folder as well as any degrees or certificates earned.
