A message from RCC leadership regarding disbursements

As you know, Rogue Community College launched an all-new information system this month which includes a new student portal, myRogue. We have experienced multiple technical problems with the new system and connectivity between the partners that we use to deliver many services to students. One of these partners helps us process federal aid and loans. These data connection issues have prevented RCC from processing financial aid and student loans in a timely manner and have prevented us from being able to say exactly when issues will be resolved.

You have all been very patient as we work through these computer problems. We know you are depending on your financial aid and loans. We assure you, we, and our partners, have been working day and night to fix the issues.

At this point in time, we are processing financial aid and loan files and will send them for disbursement as soon as possible. We wish we could tell you exactly when disbursements will turn up in students' bank accounts, but we can't. What we can promise is that Rogue Community College is here for you. We know it is our responsibility to disburse funds that students have qualified for.

We understand this has been stressful. We deeply apologize for the problems this has caused you as we have upgraded an old system.
