Domestic Violence Awareness Month - October

Led by Julia Fisher, MS, LPC and Nick Walker, MS

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. In 2018, the theme “#1Thing” was adopted to focus on change making and the idea that each and every one of us can help to create change within our community and world. When we each commit to making even one small change, the collective sum of our actions can have large impacts. What is one thing that you can commit to this month to create social transformation?

Please join the Counseling Department in bringing awareness to domestic violence during the month of October by attending learning opportunities, virtual events, and activities:

For the opportunity to learn more and interact with other students, please join RCC Counselor Nicholas Walker for a presentation and a post-discussion on Domestic Violence Awareness.
