Health Insurance

RCC offers exceptional health insurance coverage to eligible employees through the Oregon Educators Benefit Board (OEBB). The plan year runs October 1 through September 30, with Open Enrollment typically occurring August 15 through September 20.

As of the 2017-18 health insurance plan year, eligible employees will be able to select any medical, dental, and/or vision plan offered by OEBB in our region. Options for 2020-21 include:

  • Moda Medical Coordinated Care (PCP 360)/Connexus – Plan 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7
  • Moda Medical Non-Coordinated Care/Connexus – Plan 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7
  • Delta Dental Plans - 1, 5, 6, and Delta Exclusive PPO
  • Willamette Dental Plan
  • Moda Vision Plans - Opal, Pearl, and Quartz
  • VSP Vision Plans - VSP Choice Plus Plan and VSP Choice Plan

The College makes a monthly contribution (the "Cap") toward medical, dental, and vision coverage based on employment type and medical plan tier. Any premium cost beyond the College Cap amount is deducted via monthly pre-tax payroll deduction. Employee premium cost is dependent upon the applicable employment type, tier of coverage, and plan(s) selected.
