RCC’s Fundamentals of Acting class presents, “A Tribute to Neil Simon, American Playwright” on:

  • Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 12:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, Nov. 29 at 12:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, Dec. 1 at 4 p.m.

The Improvisational Theater class showcase is fun for the whole family and has become a wonderful tradition at RCC. The courageous team of players perform improv games, stories, songs, completely improvised, without a script and inspired by suggestions from the audience.   It’s funny and it’s free!

The Fundamentals of Acting class showcase is “A Tribute to Neil Simon, American Playwright.”  Neil Simon wrote more than 30 plays for the stage as well as movie screenplays from 1961-2003. Simon died in August 2018 and the class is paying tribute to him and his work by performing scenes from his plays. The showcase will include comic and dramatic scenes from "The Odd Couple," "Come Blow Your Horn," "The Gingerbread Lady," "Proposals," and "Brighton Beach Memoirs." The show is intended for mature audiences.
