Meet the Future of Design at the Portfolio Show

Digital artwork created by students at Rogue Community College will be on display Wednesday, June 12 at the Annual Portfolio Show from 1 to 4 p.m. in the RCC/SOU Higher Education Center (HEC), Room 129, at 101 S. Bartlett St. in downtown Medford. Admission is free and open to the public.

The portfolio show will feature graphic and web design, animation, illustration, digital photography, typography and other forms of multimedia and social media design works completed by RCC students in the fulfillment of an associate degree in graphic design or the Emerging Media and Digital Arts transfer degree.

Guests will have the opportunity to meet the student designers and review their portfolios. This is an excellent opportunity for employers to review potential employees for open positions, as well as for potential students to learn more about RCC’s Design and Digital Media program.

Earlier in the day, from 10 a.m. to noon in the HEC Auditorium, Room 132, professional creative industry experts will speak with the student designers about the various aspects of design careers and give advice.

This event is hosted by the student-run organization Studio B: Rogue Design Hive with funding from the Riverside Campus Associated Student Government. For more information, contact Heidi Lee Harless, Design and Digital Media Program Coordinator at 541-245-7563 or
