RCC and Britt Offer Unique Music Appreciation Course

The Rogue Community College music department and Britt Education & Engagement are teaming up again this summer to offer a unique music appreciation course that includes performances and guest lectures by Britt Festival musicians.

Students enrolled in RCC's summer term Music Appreciation course (MUS105) will embark on a survey of Western music that includes performances, guest lectures and demonstrations by musicians from the Britt Festival Orchestra including Music Director Teddy Abrams. Students will have an opportunity to attend concerts and rehearsals during the Britt Festival Orchestra season.

Summer term runs July 8 through Aug. 29. The course meets from 1-2:50 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays on the RCC Riverside Campus in Medford. Tuition for this three-credit course is $336.
