The following information is designed to help you get started as a new student.

Academic Programs
Visit the programs website to see the list of academic programs Rogue offers. You can download the graduation guides by selecting a program.

Campus-Specific Programs
Some programs are available only on specific campuses (e.g. Redwood Campus: Automotive Technology, Massage Therapy, Nursing; Riverside Campus: Dental Assisting, Human Services, Practical Nursing; Table Rock Campus: Emergency Medical Technology, Manufacturing/Engineering Technology) although prerequisite classes can be taken at any location. Please check with your program for specific information. 

Limited-Entry Programs
Some of our programs require a formal application. Courses in these programs are restricted to students who have been admitted. Prerequisites and application deadlines apply. They may offer a program orientation for interested students. Check with the program you are interested in for specific information. The following is a list of limited-entry programs:

Catalog, Class Schedule and Academic Calendar
You can access the college catalog and schedule of classes online. The academic calendar contains important dates and deadlines. Please make sure to check back every term.

Transferring from Another College or University

  • Placement Test Waiver
    If you have successfully completed an RCC equivalent writing and math course, your placement test requirement may be waived. Please have your official transcripts from previous institutions sent to RCC and email your questions to
  • Transfer Credit Evaluation
    If you'd like to know whether your previous college credits can be applied toward your program here at Rogue, please make sure your official transcript(s) are on file and your major is correctly declared on myRogue. Find the Transfer Credit Evaluation Request link in Forms for Students, and complete it to request an evaluation of credits you have completed at another institution. 


Academic Advising
With the completion of or placement above RD90, WR115 and MTH60 levels or the completion of your program prerequisites, you are considered a “program-ready” student. Please contact your program advisors directly.

If your major is undecided or you have not completed Reading 90, Writing 115 and/or Math 60, you can contact or visit the Counseling Department for academic advising. Please make sure to get registration approval from your advisor before your registration date.

*Note: If you hold a bachelor's degree or higher, you are not required to seek academic advising unless you are pursuing one of our limited-entry programs.

Transferring to Another College or University
If you are planning to transfer to another college or university, contact our academic advisor specializing in transfer advising:

Priority Registration
The registration schedule is online. The dates are based upon the number of credits earned at RCC. You can register for classes at the designated time or anytime thereafter.

Online Registration
After completing the placement assessment, you can log on to myRogue to register for classes. Use your 7-digit RCC ID number, social security number or user name and the password you set up for your admission application. You will see "Register for Classes" on the right side of your myRogue page. For assistance in registering for classes attend an Advising and Registration Clinic.  Sign up today by contacting the Counseling Department.

Student ID Card
To get your student ID card, bring a copy of your current printed class schedule and a valid photo ID to the student services desks at any campus location.

Money Matters
Tuition and fees can be paid in various ways. You can learn about financial aid and installment payment plans online. Still have questions? Visit Rogue Central Services.

Student Employment
Are you looking for a job? Student Employment Services has information about current openings. Working as a student employee can offer you flexibility around your class schedule and help you make connections on campus.

College Policies
Please be familiar with the Rogue Community College policies. RCC has adopted a policy restricting tobacco use on campus. Smoking is permitted only in designated smoking areas.

Maps, Driving Directions, Parking and Transportation Information
There are three main campus locations along with several remote classrooms. Each location has a specific parking situation. Please contact Rogue Central for information regarding parking. Bus services are available in both Josephine and Jackson Counties. You can take the virtual tours to see our beautiful campuses.
