RCC is expanding their outdoor curriculum for the summer and classes have limited space!

Enroll now in summer term adventure classes at RCC. Check out Backpacking, Day Hiking the Oregon Coast Dunes, and Rock Climbing Adventure at Smith Rock State Park. These classes will have limited space so now is the time to sign up. No experience needed, just come prepared to learn.

Also, don't forget to see what the RCC Outdoor Adventure Club is up to this summer, like their caving, rafting, and climbing adventures.

What is the Outdoor Adventure club?

The RCC Outdoor Adventure Club is about having fun and staying safe in the outdoors. We plan to host an array of activities, from day hikes to rafting trips. Learning, teaching, safety, and respecting nature are our priorities.

Many students at RCC already enjoy outdoor activities of one kind or another. Others have not had the opportunity to explore the world around them in such a way. This club is a great resource for those who have experience and want to share their knowledge and skills with others, as well as those that are interested in learning for the first time.

If any of this sound like something you might want to try or if you have experience to offer, consider joining the OAC for big time adventure! There will be events hosted by the OAC that non-members will be able to participate in, including non-students. If you want to be kept up to date and get involved, join our group on and check the RCC calendar for club activities.
