Academic Placement FAQs and Other Tips

Is Rogue Community College still offering Placement assessment?
Yes. Rogue Community College is closely monitoring the COVID-19 cases in Oregon to keep our students, staff, faculty, and visitors safe and informed. Due to the restrictions resulting from COVID-19 and in order to meet the needs of our students, we are offering in person Placement assessment with fewer students per session allowing for at least six feet of social distancing. Any student that would like to enroll for classes can sign up for a Placement Test.

What should I expect at the assessment location if I am taking the Placement Test in person?

  • If you find that you cannot test during the session you are scheduled, please let us know by calling 541-245-7820 or by emailing placementtest@roguecc.edu so that we can offer the slot to another student.
