Where Students Become Heroes

Are you just beginning your college journey? Does the thought of taking math classes make you nervous? Fear not, for we are here to help!  Should you choose to join our team, you will gain the guidance and tutorship needed to reach college-level math.

Personalized Advising

Our Program Advisor, Travis Toll will provide individualized guidance to program participants that ensures timely progress towards educational goals.

Classroom Support

Access to individual and group tutoring both in and out of required math courses.

Math Peer Coaches

Coaches will mentor program participants along their math journey, to include navigating the ins and outs of college life.

ALEKS 360 (Assessment and Learning in Knowledge Spaces)

Access to a web-based assessment and learning system designed to aid in the mastery of math components that will help ensure the successful completion of math courses.


A variety of workshops are offered throughout the year geared towards helping participants connect with resources, reduce stress and anxiety, develop rapport with peers, and have fun.

Textbook Scholarship

Eligible program participants will receive $200 for textbook and college supplies each term.

Tuition Scholarship

Eligible program participants will qualify for up to 4-credits of free tuition during summer term 2021.

Program Criteria

Do you need to complete college level math and meet one or more of the following criteria?

  • Primary parent or guardian has not completed a four-year college degree
  • Low income (i.e. recipient of one or more of the following: Pell Grant, SNAP, TANF, WIC, Free & Reduced Lunch)

Program Requirements

Participants must complete the following requirements during each term in order to remain program eligible and to earn our summer tuition scholarship.

  • Enroll in math courses
  • Enroll half-time (minimum of 6 credits)
  • Attend Math Marvels Amass Onboarding at the start of term
  • Meet with the Program Advisor once each term
  • Meet with  assigned Math Coach at least three times each term

Math 96 Support Lab
April 6th - June 17th
Tuesday & Thursday
3:00 p.m. - 3:50 p.m.

(Please note: Students must be accepted into our program before lab enrollment can occur. Students must be enrolled in both a math course and support lab.)
