Rene McKenzie, Director of Student Programs
In my 20 year career at Rogue Community College, I have had the opportunity to work directly with disadvantaged students to encourage their educational attainment and transfer for a four-year degree. I am an advocate for students, versed in advising, instruction, and Student Services administration.
I began my community college education at RCC, and I have continued along the path of higher education. I hold a BA in Business from Northwest Christian University, a Masters in Adult Education, and I am currently pursuing a Ph.D in Community College Leadership from Oregon State University.
At Rogue, I am involved with our college grants team, the RCC Foundation, and the Diversity Programming Board. I believe it is important to model for students and staff a well-rounded education; including leadership and participation in college events and processes.
