Winter 2021 FAQs

RCC is closed for winter break Dec. 18-Dec. 29. Staff will be working remotely Dec. 30-31 and Jan. 4-8.
Winter term is Jan. 11 - March 26, 2021. See the academic calendar for other important dates.

Winter term classes will remain online with the exception of certain high-priority labs and programs that cannot be effectively taught through online coursework. RCC is following the guidance from the Governor’s office, local public health departments and the Higher Education Coordinating Commission.

All people on campus are required to wear facial masks and maintain 6-feet social distancing. A surgical mask, washable cloth mask or N95 respirator (without exhalation valve) must be worn at all times when inside campus buildings and outside when 6-feet distance between individuals can't be maintained. Face shields may be used only in combination with a mask.

All areas and surfaces used by students or staff will be cleaned and sanitized daily. Everyone’s cooperation will help us to keep the campuses open and will be greatly appreciated. Visit our COVID-19 website for more about how RCC is dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic and safety precautions.
